Pyramidal Solar Stills via Hollow Cylindrical Perforated Fins, Inclined Rectangular Perforated Fins, and Nanocomposites: An Experimental Investigation

A practical study was conducted to improve the performance of conventional pyramidal solar stills (CPSS) using two types fins with differing geometries, as well nanocomposites TiO2 and graphene. The first fin hollow, cylindrical, perforated (HCPF), whereas second an inclined rectangular (IPRF). were integrated base a still evaluate their in comparison CPSS. obtained experimental results demonstrated that hollow cylindrical (PSS-HCPF) (PSS-IPRF) produced more distillate than PSS-HCPF CPSS under all examined conditions. daily productivities CPSS, PSS-HCPF, PSS-IPRF 3718, 4840, 5750 mL/m2, respectively, improving productivity by 31.3% 55.9%, compared In addition, improved production 82.1%.
